Chrome affixed to the car as a sweetener, such as jewelry in the human body, chrome accents on the cars presented as an addition to the charm of the display. here are some tips that can help you maintain the appearance of chrome on the car.
1. Eliminate rust on the chrome
When you find the slightest sign of rust brown stains should you deal with it directly, because of the rust on the chrome is more apt to occur than other parts of the car.
- Prepare a steel wool pad (use the most refined type)
- Prepare chrome liquid polish / cleaner or tarnish metal cleaner and polish.
- Clean rust areas first with water and shampoo to loose dirt.
- Dab liquid chromium to a steel wool cleaning pad and also to the upper area of rust.
- Rub gently with circular motions. not too pressing, with enough subtle circular motion
- When the surface starts to dry, again Dab chrome cleaning fluid. Do not do the sweep when the dry surface
- After 5 minutes of rubbing, rinse the surface with clean water. drain and see if there was any rust marks.
2. Cleaning chrome-based plastic.
- Mix liquid car shampoo to the water with a ratio of 5:4, for comparison to taste.
- Dip a sponge into the liquid and then rubbed the wet foam to a layer of chrome.
- Without waiting for a dry, rinse immediately with clean water until there is no shampoo left.
- Dry the frame with delicate fabrics.
- Perform this step once a week
